BUILDING UTAH: MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN CONSTRUCTION FOR STATE FACILITIES
For the past five years, Hadfield Construction has partnered with the State of Utah to improve, modernize, and extend the life of publicly owned facilities. Our work has focused primarily on remodels, renovations, and additions for state-owned buildings—projects that require precision, coordination, and a strong commitment to responsive service.
Working closely with the Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM), Hadfield Construction has delivered construction services across a wide range of state agencies and institutions. From college campuses to correctional facilities, these projects include a full range of offices, classrooms, amenities, conference rooms, maintenance buildings, laboratories, and more.
Understanding Public Construction
Many of these projects are completed in active, occupied environments, where maintaining operations during construction is critical. Hadfield places a strong emphasis on communication, scheduling, and problem-solving to minimize disruption while delivering quality results. Just as important, we maintain an exceptional record of completing projects on time and within budget. We understand this is a critical responsibility when entrusted with publicly funded buildings.
“State projects demand accountability, transparency, and consistent performance,” said Jade Hadfield, President of Hadfield Construction. “Our team understands the responsibility that comes with public work, and we take pride in delivering high-quality construction while respecting schedules, budgets, and the people who rely on these facilities every day.”

Experience With the State of Utah DFCM
Recently completed projects administered through DFCM include remodels and construction work for the Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Utah Valley University, the University of Utah, Salt Lake Community College, the Utah Department of Corrections, the Utah Department of Transportation, the Utah Division of Workforce Services, and the Utah State Courts, among others. Projects span communities from Logan to Spanish Fork, Salt Lake City to Ogden. To learn more, view our portfolio of government work.
Through each project, Hadfield remains focused on the same priorities: responsive service, quality craftsmanship, and reliable execution. These values continue to guide our work as we help the State of Utah maintain and improve the facilities that serve the residents of Utah.
