For this tenant improvement construction project for Ogden Contemporary Arts, Hadfield Construction provided construction services to convert the historic Monarch Building on 25^th Street in Ogden, Utah to a public art gallery which draws local artists, as well as artists from around the world. Given the historic building, the Hadfield team worked carefully to preserve the historic building façade and interior features. From the main exhibition space, the “Arts Garage” gallery, and Digital Art Room to the Second Floor Gallery and Artist Lofts, the construction includes 20-foot vertical sheer walls, flexible display spaces, and the latest in technology and lighting for audio, visual, and digital experiences for patrons, as well as a gallery shop.
